- Hot Cars Campaign: Saturday, June 17 Street Homeless Animal Project will have a table under a tent from 1-5 PM in the Walmart Superstore parking lot on lower Cerrillos. SHAP is excited to be part of a city campaign this summer that is alerting people to the dangers of Hot Cars for companion animals and human animals. They will be filming a PSA this Saturday and we will be on site. SHAP ED Karen Cain is working with police, fire department, animal control and other city of Santa Fe organizations to get out the word about this important issue. Please drop by or volunteer for an hour or two at their table if you can. Contact Karen for more info.
