  • Second Street Brewery donates 15 percent of all beer sales at all three of their locations on Sat. Apr. 7 to Pints for Parkinson’s New Mexico. It’s a Team Fox event to benefit The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, for which 100 percent of proceeds go directly to research projects.
  • Author Event – Santa Fe author & activist Debra Denker reads & talks about her new book Weather Menders, Sun., Apr. 8 @ 3pm Bookworks 4022 Rio Grande Blvd NW in Albuquerque
  • Join the Greyhound Adoption League of New Mexico and Texas for a meet-n-greet with their adoptable dogs & learn how to be a foster. Opuntia Café, 922 Shoofly St., Sun, Apr. 8 from 11am- 1:pm
  • Mark you calendars for the next 100 Kids Who Care in Santa Fe meeting Sat. Apr. 21 from 2-3pm Studio Center (formerly Warehouse 21). Students grades 7 – 12, bring $5 to $20 ($5 = 1 vote) and support local non-profits. Together kids can make a difference too!

  • Mark you calendars for the next 100 Women Who Care Meeting, Wed. May 2 at 6 pm at the Scottish Rite Temple
  • Miyuki Matthews, a senior at Santa Fe Prep, is organizing a golf tournament called Nine & Dine for Parkinson’s.  Miyuki has a family member with Parkinson’s.  She wanted to do something special for the Parkinson’s community in Santa Fe and took this on for her senior project. The event is Saturday, May 5th at the SF Country Club.  Registration starts at 2pm and the Shotgun Start is at 3pm.
    You can go to NMParkinson.org to register, donate or be a sponsor for this event.


Going on Vacation
