  • Visit Local Artists’ Studios during the Santa Fe Studio Tour, 23-24, 10 am – 5pm. Over 50 Santa Fe artists open their studios including Cheri O’Brien Studio #09, Roberta Parry Studio #47 & William Rhea Studio Studio #51
  • Blue Jeans, Boots & BBQ to Benefit Esperanza Shelter  at the Eldorado Community Center June 23 @ 5 – 8 pm with Art Show featuring works by Angel Wynn  Click here for ticket info.
  • Take a Step Toward a Better Lifestyle, presented by Raquel Koch – a FREE event, with a $10 suggested donation. Your donation will be benefitting Gerard’s House, a safe place for grieving children, teens and families where healing happens through acceptance and peer support. Hosted by MorningStar Senior Living, 2041 S Pacheco St., Tues, June 26th 5:30 – 7:30pm

  • Lantern Decorating for International Folk Art Market Parade with Meow Wolf
    Meow Wolf  needs help to prepare their big display for the market’s parade. Every Saturday in June from 11am – 4 pm, drop in to learn about a variety of art styles, decorate a lantern, and prepare for the parade on the Plaza on July 12.

  • RSVP Now for Women2Women Luncheon, Wed. June 20 at noon with Margo Covington, a Lymphatic Decongestive Therapist. Her talk is titled,“Self-Empowerment thru the Lens of Lymph” Email Jody to save your space at Cowgirl.
  • Santa Fe River Clean + Green, a community arroyo & river clean up event organized by Santa Fe Watershed Assoc., Sat. June 16. Meet at Alto Park to clean litter from the river. Meet at Montano Park to help trim willows & elms 10am – noon

  • Unity Santa Fe invites you to a Summer Solstice Celebration at 6 pm on June 21. The celebration includes a Labyrinth walk followed by drumming to the Medicine Wheel, Lakota prayer & continued celebration. All are welcome to bring a small gift to Mother Earth for the Labyrinth or Medicine Wheel (stones, flowers, seeds, etc.) 1212 Unity Way.
  • Celebrate the Summer Solstice with Sangria and Song with the Santa Fe Community Foundation, Thurs., June 21, 6:30 PM – 9 PM at the Club at Las Campanas. Featuring performances by Luis Reyes–D.M.A. Collaborative Piano Performance USC and Connor McCreary–M.M. Voice Performance Northwestern.

  • 100 Women Who Care in Santa Fe  Here’s an update on donations collected from our Feb. 7th meeting: $10,416 for SFPS Adelante, $5,225 for Reading Quest & $600 for S.E.E.D.S makes a grand total of $16,241 for three great non-profits in Santa Fe! Thank you members for being a part of this wonderful group! We together are truly making a difference in Santa Fe.
  • 100 Kids Who Care in Santa Fe is looking student liaisons at each of the high schools in Santa Fe to help build the group by announcing the meetings, putting up flyers and encouraging fellow students to attend. There are only 2 meetings left for this school year: Sat. Mar. 31 and Sat. Apr. 21. If you know of a student who would be interested in being a part of the founding board and representing their school, please contact Coco Randolph. FYI  For the meetings kids bring $5 to $20 ($5 = 1 vote) and support local non-profits. Together kids can make a difference too!
  • Community Day at Meow Wolf – Get reduced-price admission to the House of Eternal Return and a day of special programming, Sun. Mar. 11, 10 am – 8 pm
  • Volunteer Orientation at the New Mexico Center for Therapeutic Riding. Those with interests in horse care and handling, rider assistance, barn maintenance, photography or just clerical work are invited to an info and orientation session. No horse knowledge is necessary, and training is provided. Cool Pick of the Week

DragonsBuild a Dragon: Kids and families are invited to help build four, 8-foot long, 3-foot wide magnificently inspired Dragons of the World for the International Folk Art Market artist procession in July.

Meow Wolf, 1352 Rufina Circle, 395-6369, Sat. July 1, noon.

Dragon-building in the studio is free, but does not include admission to Meow Wolf.

I am looking for more volunteers for this years event to help in the cook tents. The shifts are 6:30 am – 9:30am and 9:30am – 12:30 pm.
