  • Mark you calendars for the next 100 Kids Who Care in Santa Fe meeting Sat. Apr. 21 from 2-3pm Studio Center (formerly Warehouse 21). Students grades 7 – 12, bring $5 to $20 ($5 = 1 vote) and support local non-profits. Together kids can make a difference too!

  • Mark you calendars for the next 100 Women Who Care Meeting, Wed. May 2 at 6 pm at the Scottish Rite Temple
  • Miyuki Matthews, a senior at Santa Fe Prep, is organizing a golf tournament called Nine & Dine for Parkinson’s.  Miyuki has a family member with Parkinson’s.  She wanted to do something special for the Parkinson’s community in Santa Fe and took this on for her senior project. The event is Saturday, May 5th at the SF Country Club.  Registration starts at 2pm and the Shotgun Start is at 3pm.
    You can go to NMParkinson.org to register, donate or be a sponsor for this event.

  • Film & Speaker: A screening of Merci Congo, about the conflict minerals trade in East Congo and the amazing activists who are working to change the situation there. Neema Namadamu, one of the activists featured in the film, will speak about her work empowering women in the region and changing the paradigm there through grassroots organizing. This event is free and open to the public. 2 Cats Productions is the collaboration between New Mexico Writer/Producer Catherine Fridey & New Mexico Actor/Director Catharine Pilafas. Between the two, they wrote, directed, produced and starred in the six minute short film that they are now hoping to take to film festivals. If you’d like to help these creative and talented women by sponsoring a film fest application fee (anywhere from $25 to $100 per application) they’d love your help.
