  • Day of the Dead activities at Casa Chimayo outdoor patio from 2 – 5 pm, 409 W. Water St., children & families welcome. 10% of all proceeds for the day go to United Way of Santa Fe County’s high quality early childhood programs.
  • Climate Education Symposium at Monte del Sol Charter School. As part of the New Mexico Citizens’ Climate Education conference, “Getting Beyond the Climate Argument: Plugging Into Solutions,” a day-long symposium features speakers, small group discussions and moderated panels. Sat, Oct. 28, 8:30am – 5:00pm, $18 – $22

The Santa Fe Chapter of the Awesome Foundation is accepting applications for a $1,000 micro-grant that will be awarded to invest in a local project that aims to make Santa Fe a better place to live, work, and play. The grant is open to individuals and groups with no prerequisites. Applications are due by August 4, 2017, with the grant to be awarded in September.
