Call (505) 946-5700 for more information.- Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary Family Program – Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary focuses its efforts on educating the general public about the wild wolf, wolves and wolf-dogs in captivity. Wolf ambassadors wolf demonstrate such points as wolf physical characteristics, behavior, wild wolf diet, hunting strategies, family life, physical adaptations and pack structure, the difference between wolves and dogs, wild and domestic animals, and some of the myths about wolves portrayed by the media, where these ideas originated, and why they are false. The Rare Splendors of Namibia – John Pitts discusses the two-week trip he organized and led to Namibia in the spring of 2018. This, his third trip to Namibia, also featured co-leader and Santa Fe resident geologist Kirt Kempter, who reveals the dramatic geologic history of Namibia, including world-class rock art sites. Upcoming: Blue Raven Theatre and Warehouse 21 present a new play festival Fearless Female Voices featuring 11 short new plays by Santa Fe’s female playwrights – in honor of International Women’s Voices Day. Each playwright will present a 15 minute play, either a short drama or excerpt from a longer piece. Professional actors will bring their plays to life in these staged readings. Sun.
