  • Nuevo Dias de los Muertos opening Fri., Oct. 27 from 5-7pm Cheri O’Brien Fine Art gallery. Please join recycle artists Jennie Cooley and Holly Goldstein, contemporary artist Michael Gullberg, sculptor/painter Cheri O’Brien, metalsmith Carol Palmer Huntington, photographer/artist Angel Wynn and more for a spirited evening.  Show runs Oct. 27 through Nov. 13
  • Day of the Dead activities at Casa Chimayo outdoor patio from 2 – 5 pm, 409 W. Water St., children & families welcome. 10% of all proceeds for the day go to United Way of Santa Fe County’s high quality early childhood programs.
  • Climate Education Symposium at Monte del Sol Charter School. As part of the New Mexico Citizens’ Climate Education conference, “Getting Beyond the Climate Argument: Plugging Into Solutions,” a day-long symposium features speakers, small group discussions and moderated panels. Sat, Oct. 28, 8:30am – 5:00pm, $18 – $22
